Improve performance in small-sided games under simple organization, with the focus on fast transitions between defense and attack and better team coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How it runs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The game simulates a full match on a reduced pitch, which pushes the intensity up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Two separate pitches<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Each pitch is 32 meters wide and 50 meters long<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Four teams in total, two on each pitch<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. 4 sets of 3 minutes, with 1.5 minutes rest between sets<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Coaches are split between the pitches to explain, encourage and correct in real time<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    • Concentration and commitment: high attention and maximum effort at every stage<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Communication: players talk to close spaces in defense and to move well in attack<\/li>\n\n\n\n

Before that he worked in youth development at Feyenoord, Shakhtar Donetsk and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
