Top 5 in the World.
Here Is What That Means.
TechRound ranked 22 sports technology companies globally. EasyCoach made the top 5. This is what the judges saw.
TL;DR
- TechRound named EasyCoach one of the top 5 sports technology companies in the world in its inaugural SportsTech22 2026 competition.
- The recognition reflects EasyCoach’s growth as a club management platform serving 150+ clubs and federations, with more than 50,000 players managed on the platform.
- The award panel specifically cited EasyCoach’s operational platform as a standout in youth sports.
- This post explains what the award is, what the judges said, and why it matters for clubs evaluating their options in 2026.
A few days ago, TechRound announced the winners of its first SportsTech22 competition. The award was a global ranking designed to identify the most impactful sports technology companies across categories ranging from biomechanics and wearables to coaching platforms and athlete data.
Out of 22 finalists from around the world, EasyCoach was named among the best, placing in the top 5.
The competition drew entries spanning injury prevention technology, broadcast innovation, fan experience platforms, and club operations software. The judges included technology executives, sports scientists, founders, and PR professionals with deep experience in the sports industry. Their brief was to identify companies solving real problems with credible, deployed technology and a clear path to scale.
EasyCoach was recognised in that company.

What the Judges Said
Two judges named EasyCoach directly in their published feedback.
Cheryl McColgan, Founder at Heal Nourish Grow LLC, placed EasyCoach alongside injury-prevention technologies in her top observations, describing it as part of a vision of what youth sports should be: safer, smarter, and more organised.
Kirsty Jarvis, CEO and Founder of Luminous PR, identified EasyCoach as one of five clear front-runners in the entire competition. In her assessment, EasyCoach articulated a well-defined problem, presented a compelling solution, and backed it up with credible signs of traction. She noted that the qualities EasyCoach demonstrated are critical for success in today’s sports technology landscape.
For a competition that included hardware companies, biomechanics platforms backed by elite sport, and consumer technology at significant scale, that kind of specific recognition matters.
Why This Recognition Matters for Clubs
Club directors and directors of coaching evaluate software in an environment full of overlapping claims.
Every platform describes itself as complete, easy to use, and built for clubs. Award recognition from an independent panel does not replace a demo or a reference call, but it does cut through the noise in a meaningful way.
Being named among the best sports technology companies globally, alongside companies with significantly larger teams and budgets, tells clubs something specific. It says that an independent panel of industry experts, judging on evidence of real-world impact, commercial awareness, and a clear path to scale, found EasyCoach’s work credible and its position in the market legitimate.
For clubs that are currently weighing whether to move from a basic scheduling tool to a proper club management system, that kind of third-party validation is a useful signal.
What Comes Next
EasyCoach is expanding its presence in the United States in 2026, working with competitive youth clubs, academies, and soccer organisations that have outgrown entry-level tools and need a platform that handles operations and coaching in one system. The TechRound recognition adds to a body of proof that includes live federation partnerships, growing club deployments across six continents, and integrations with tools clubs already use, including Pixellot, Catapult, and PlayerMaker.
The goal has not changed. Less admin. A real coaching standard. Clear player development for every team in the club, run from one platform.
The coaches who win the next decade will not be the ones with the best data. They will be the ones who understand what moves people. That work starts with understanding yourself.
